VINTAGE ZULU HEADREST

VINTAGE HEADREST ( Zulu Land South Africa)

This beautiful vintage headrest is a real collectors piece.

It has been hand carved from one single piece of timber , with lovely hand carved etching on both the outside of the base legs and the far left and right of the top of the stool.  The wood is a lovely dark chocolate colouring , whilst the top is a rich tan shade.

In Africa these headrests are used for carrier seating and of course Headrest for the ground for sleeping.
